Your post is due no later than Friday, December 21, 2012 at 5pm.
It must be at least 8 sentences long!
“Brrrrr!” I feel like my toes might fall off. I have been out in a freezing cold blizzard all day. My parents haven’t been able to pry me away from it’s fluffy coldness. I woke up to my sister running into my room, jumping on to my bed yelling “Juliana wake up, it’s snowing!” I couldn’t resist the urge. I quickly ran out of my bedroom and into my kitchen. As soon as I looked out the window, all I saw was a blanket of white covering my street. My sister and I quickly yet quietly ran into my basement, trying not to wake anyone. We put on some heavy snow gear and were heading for the door when we were stopped by two shovels. It was my mom and I already knew what she was going to say. We had to shovel half of the long black pavement in order to play in the snow. It took us about an hour to finish, but once I was done, I knew I would be paid back with a cup of warm cocoa waiting for me inside. Once I was done drinking the cup of creamy deliciousness, my sister and I could play in the snow. We had a snowball fight, built snowmen and even went sledding. It was the best day ever, and I can wait for another blizzard!
ReplyDeleteIf over Christmas break we had a snow storm I would love it! My family, my cousins and I would go sledding. We might also make snowmen and snow angels. Possibly, after we got cold from playing in the snow, I would go inside and make hot chocolate and sit by the warm fire. We would enjoy the rest of the night together. The next morning I would sleep in and then go straight outside to play in the snow all over again. Christmas is always much more fun with snow on the ground. Personally, I would really have fun over this Christmas break.
ReplyDeleteDuring the "snowstorm" I would be at home with my family. The worst part of a snowstorm is not being able to go outside. The best part of a snowstorm is being able to sleep longer. If the snowstorm was harsh and the power went out I would probably go straight to bed. If the snowstorm was mild and nothing really happened I would carry on with my normal life.

ReplyDelete“Brrrrr!” The worst day to have a blizzard! My parents are gone and my brother is with them; I’m home alone. My cat is cuddling with me as I watch T.V. My day has been completely ruined! But, then I think to myself,“I guess I can call up a friend?” I call her and she answers the phone saying, ”There is a unicorn turtle on my roof!!” Once I heard that I got shocked and and hung up. My parents finally came home with 9 dogs and cupcakes. The dogs were all golden retriever and the cupcakes were all decorated with gummy worms and yummy sprinkles. I ate 2 cupcakes and went to sleep. When I woke up I realized it was all a dream.
“Brrrrrr.....!” It felt like I was going to FREEZE!!!!! I love the snow, but I dislike snow storms, especially when Christmas is right around the corner. Even though I was so cold, I walked out the door. All I saw was a blanket of snow. When the blizzard finally stopped, I went for a walk in the woods with my three brother’s (Mikie, Daniel, and Johnathan). I slipped and fell and my brothers loudly laughed at me, but it really hurt! It started to quickly bleed. Then, I went inside and played with my nephew, Briley (. He is the cutest baby ever. After, I brought Briley outside in the blanket of snow. I hope that next year will be amazing too!!!!
ReplyDeleteSnowstorm, I know exactly what I will do; I will go out in the storm and just enjoy it. I will build an ultimate snow fort with 4 feet walls a foot thick. I will have an awesome snowball fight. I would be with myself out in the storm and I would never go back in all vacation, with the acceptation of Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI would be by myself and enjoy the quiet. The best part is the part of working by your self no one to bug you. It would be pin drop silent no can tell what to do your in charge. Your are the boss. The worst part would be is that you will eventually have to go back in. No more snow no more freedom. Back when your bossed around when you are no longer in charge.
I would go on an ultimate blizzard adventure. I would do the impossible because who needs to follow the rules because you are able to do anything. I would travel miles in blinding snow bound to never give up and travels farther than any one else ,do every thing. Everything in the world.
So in conclusion do what you can because on the 2nd of January you get no more of it for 365 days of school and boiling heat. So to everyone who waited for this enjoy it.
Because it may your last.
I am freezing. My hot cocoa is keeping me warm. I am going to skate on my pond with my brother. When I get off my pond I will take a hot tub. The snow is up to my knees and I have frostbite. I am now inside and as warm as a toaster. After I go to a mountain and go snowboarding. That is what I will do over the snowstorm.
ReplyDeleteIt is the week before vacation. I would like to think about what may happen like what if there was a huge snow storm! I would probably be with my family. We would most likely sit down on the couch together and watch Christmas movies all day or until the storm had passed. The best part about the snowstorm would be being able to spend time with my family. The worst part would probably be that I couldn’t go anywhere and see my friends. Maybe I would try sledding down my street with my sister and neighbors were around. So, I guess if we did have a snowstorm, it wouldn’t be such a bad thing.
ReplyDeleteIf there was a blizzard over Christmas Vacation I'd be very happy. When the snow was really high I would climb up a tree and plunge into the white blanket covering my yard. I'd even build a snow fortress. I would then sit by my fireplace and watch some movies with a cup of hot cocoa. The next day I'd go sledding down the big hill in my backyard. Maybe I would build a snowman and have a snowball fight with my friends. I'd spend time with my family and have a Christmas party. If a blizzard did come I would love it!
ReplyDeleteOver the snowstorm,I would be drinking warm, creamy cocoa and waaatching movies.I would be with my family by my nice, toasty pellet stove.I would then proceed to play games on on my ipod for about a half of an hour. The worst part of a snowstorm is the coldness and the ice.The best thing about a snowstorm is the joy and happiness it brings to some people.I hope that the snowstorm doesn't knock out my power,or we will freeze to death.I wish vacation was longer!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a snowstorm during the cold, severe and fridgid weather. If it is snowing outside I'd love to sit inside in front of the warm and comfy stove heating my freezing little tiny toes. I sit watching the excilerating movies as if I were at a movie theater in a dark and cozy room. After, the snowstorm has stopped a little I would probably go outside and start having a harsh snowball fight with my friends. Then I would go inside and have a cup of the warm, hot and delicous hot cocoa. Most the time when there is a snowstorm I don't do a lot but when it is snowing a lot I play in soft and fluffy snow. I hope that it does snow over break but not a lot. That is how I would spend most of my days in a snowstorm over vacation.
ReplyDeleteIt's Christmas Vacation and theres a huge snowstorm! I would be with either my mom and my brother Cameron, or at my dads with my brother and a friend of mine named Nina. I'd drink delicious hot chocolate with those mini marshmallows in it. With milk, not water, waters gross in hot chocolate! I'd drink that while sittin on the floor looking at the christmas tree, while wearing my bright pink snuggie. After that I'd listen to Christmas songs on my ipod and sing along. I love "All I want for Christmas is You" and "Walkin in a Winter land." After that I'd probably snuggle up in the cozy arm chair in front of the Tv with my orange kitten named Simba. I'd watch Christmas specials like "Santa Paws" and Disney's "A Christmas Carol." Then once the snow slowed down I'd go outside. I think snow makes places look like a whole new world, so I pretend it is one. I love pretending that I'm a famous explorer and that I'm lost in the snow. I know it's really childish, but to be honest, I don't care! I love doing it! I like snow, I just don't like a TON of it. Like how a few years back it snowed so much that it didn't melt until like April! That was WAY too much. But it was fun before it got all gross. My parents, little brother, and I built one of those things that we learned about in social studies, that year. I think it was called a quincy. It was so fun. That is until it became a few piles of dirty slush. Well, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteOver a snowstorm I would stay inside the whole time. During a snow storm it's usually dark out side. I really most of the time would be in my dad's plow tuck shovling his apartments all day. But I would like to stay inside all warm drinking hot chocolate and sitting on the couch with my kindle fire or just watching movies, the kindle fire dose everything like games, reading, movies, and the vast internet. I could sleep in longer than school days and waking up in the morning at 6:30. That would be the day.
ReplyDelete"Yipeeeee!!!" It is finally snowing, and I've been playing in the snow all day!
ReplyDeleteMy cousins came over early yesterday morning and woke me up. I was sooo mad. It was finally vacation, and I still didn't get to sleep in. My cousins dragged me out of bed, and I was about to yell at them, when I saw the blizzard, with sparkling white snow flying in every direction, and the snow completely lightened my mood. I was so happy that it was finally snowing (just in time for Christmas), that instead of yelling at my cousins, I hugged them all. I wanted to share my joy with everyone.
My cousins and I put on our snow gear and went outside. We had snowball fights (I would always win), we made snow angels, and we made snow forts. It was so frigid, and after a while we couldn't stand it any longer. We went inside and drank hot cocoa by the warm, toasty fire. The hot cocoa felt really good against my freezing hands.
Later that night I went back outside and realized that my brothers had made an igloo. It was the most amazing igloo ever, and they even built a fire inside of it! I stayed in the igloo for a while, but then I went inside and went to sleep.
Today, I did pretty much the same thing. I am having the best vacation ever!
I would love to have a snowstorm! I would probaly just turn up the heat and call my friends or text them. But I would also shovel for money for my neighbors because there really old. Then after I would through snowballs at my brother and his friends. I cant do it alone so I would invite my friends over. Almost forgot go sleding down our hill next to my house and play over there. Or we could just hangout and drink hot cocco. Thats what I would do on our snowstrom over vaction!

I woke up and the street was covered in snow. There had to be at least three feet of snow outside. After I put on all my gear I had to shovel the snow from in front of the door so I could get outside. The snow was as heavy as a boulder. I met up with some friends to go sledding and to build a snow fort. The snow fort had a tunnel that led to the inside which was like an igloo. After being outside for awhile we head back in to have some hot chocolate and a snack. The thing I like about snow days is school is cancelled and you can go tubing with your friends. The thing I don’t like about snow days is having to shovel all the snow.
